A new “Karate Kid”: The Indian International School – DSO campus student secures top award in National Championship
- Date September 18, 2024
Winning first position in Kata at the prestigious IFK CUP 2024 was a proud moment for Akshita Pramod Kumar, a confident and skilled martial arts student whose focus and hard work have propelled her to new heights in the field.
At the 9th National Championship of the International Federation of Karate (Kyokushin), Akshita (from 10A, for the academic year 2023-24) competed with Black Belt students and won first place after three rounds.
It was an amazing victory for Akshita, who soon after this achieved her own Black Belt status, after winning in 15 rounds at another tournament held in Dubai recently.
We heartily congratulate Akshita on both her spectacular achievements and wish her all the best for future endeavors!
