Download, print and fill-out IIS-DSO TRANSPORT FORM – OWN TRANSPORT TO SCHOOL TRANSPORT. Only the ticked items are to be filled out.
STEP 4. Submit the Own Transport to School Transport Form.
Either the parent or the student can submit the form to the Transport Department Main Office in Oud Metha at least 1 month before the requested date of school bus use. Transport department staff will check the form. You will get an acknowledgement slip; half of which should be given to the driver on the first day of school bus use. The driver will not allow your child to board the bus without his copy of the acknowledgement slip.
STEP 5. Pay for new ID.
Show the parent’s acknowledgement receipt of the transport route change form to the cashier and pay for the new ID at the Fees Department. Bring the receipt to the ICT Department to request for a new ID. The new ID will have the new bus route number on it. It is also advised to keep the acknowledgement slip until the new ID has been issued. For the meantime, request for a Temporary ID from IIS-DSO Transport Department.

To validate that you have followed the procedure for new admissions school transport application, the Transport Department will affix a stamp on your receipt. You have to show the receipt to IIS-DSO Transport Department to get a Temporary ID for your child. The driver will not allow your child to board the bus without a Temporary ID and a validated receipt.

STEP 2. Submit the Transport Cancellation Form.
Either the parent or the student can submit the form to the Transport Department Main Office in Oud Metha 3 months before the requested date of school transport cancellation. Transport Department staff will check the form. You will get an acknowledgement slip.
STEP 3. Pay for Own-Transport ID.
Show the parent’s acknowledgement receipt of the transport cancellation form to the cashier and pay for the new ID at the Fees Department. Bring the receipt to the ICT Department to request for a new ID. Your child will need a new ID to show the school guards at the gate that he/she is on OWN TRANSPORT. Without the ID, the security guards will not allow your child to exit from the school gates. It is also advised to keep the acknowledgement slip until the new ID has been issued. For the meantime, request for a Temporary ID from IIS-DSO Transport Department.
NOTE: The Transport Department strictly follows the school policy of 3-month notice for transport cancellation. For immediate cancellation, you may course thru your request to the Parent Communications Office.
No. In essence, the bus fee you pay monthly reserves a seat for your child for a 2-way trip.
Yes, it is possible. You may call the Transport Department office and check if seat is available. You also have to fill-out a form at the Parent Communications Office for temporary route change, stating therein the details of your child’s guardian. The PCO will forward the form to Transport Department for finalization.
Also, please be noted that there will be an adjustment to the bus fee if the area is farther. For instance, if you live in International City with AED 370 bus fee and your child needs to stay with your parents in Motor City with AED 535 bus fee, the AED 165 difference will be added to the school bill. Please see IIS-DSO BUS FEES for your reference.
If your child is using school transport and you would like to cancel the service, a 3-month notice is required. If you only want to avail of the Student NOL card for your child without cancellation of transport, or if your child is using private transport, you may request for a bonafide certificate from the Registrar’s Office as a requirement of Dubai Metro for Student NOL Card application. The school does not issue Student NOL Card.
It is possible. Write a letter to the supervisor requesting to allow your daughter to use the boys bus route. The letter should contain the full name of your child, GR number, grade and division, the extra class she will attend, the bus route number you request to drop her off, parent’s name and signature. Hand over the letter to the supervisor for approval. Present the letter with the supervisor’s approval to the Transport Department.
